on the inside

I go to church every Sunday with my Dad, after the service we go back to my parents house, fix breakfast with my mom and sit around chatting over coffee into the afternoon. It's very sweet and it's kind of our thing.  Ahh, the perks of being a 5 minute drive from my parents- which is funny because as a teenager I always thought I would be a million miles away from them and now I'm practically next door and happy about it- how things change.

Anyway, this past Sunday the service featured a trumpet accompanist, the sound was so smooth and controlled, it made me think how amazing it is that a person can blow into a instrument with their breath (that normally would make no noise) and this huge, beautiful sound comes- it's pretty incredible.  Those thoughts reminded me of these cool pictures I'd seen earlier in the week...
